We have all heard of emotional support animals that transform the lives of the people they care for. Usually we expect to see a dog, not an alligator! What is special about Wally is the reaction people in the shopping mall had to hugging him.

Not only did Wally create a wonderfully positive interactions between strangers, their smiles and reaction show he gave them a truly uplifting experience. What a contrast to people in malls today who’ve lost all perspective as they scuttle around in fear, avoiding everyone while wearing their face diapers. Perhaps they need to hug Wally and re-experience how daily delights can be found in each other and our companions from nature?
