Vaccine skepticism and hesitancy
An October 2020 survey of 13,000 nurses found that only 34% would voluntarily submit to a Pfizer, Moderna or other experimental COVID vaccine [1]. Another 36% said they could definitely not take the shot, and 31% were unsure. A December 2020 survey by the Pew Research Center found that nearly 40% of all Americans probably or definitely will not take the needle [2]. The skepticism and hesitancy revolves around the emergency use authorization (EUA) for these experimental vaccines by the Food and Drug Administration. This arbitrary power for the FDA commissioner was put on full display since COVID appeared.
The agency issued a sensible and justifiable EUA for hydroxychloroquine on March 28, 2020. There are currently 230 studies, including 164 peer reviewed studies, showing vastly lower disease progression and death rate for COVID patients in both early and late stages [3]. Despite this overwhelming evidence of HCQ’s effectiveness and minimal to no adverse effects, the FDA revoked the EUA in June, saying “the known and potential benefits of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine no longer outweigh the known and potential risks for the authorized use” [4]. Despite all the very serious adverse effects of the Pfizer, Moderna and other vaccines, including death, the FDA continues authorizing emergency use thereof. Further, Pfizer and Moderna shots do not fit the legal and medical definition of “vaccine,” and should not be referred to as such.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued updated guidance paving the way for employers to force mandatory vaccines [5]. Workers are thus left to fend for themselves to protect the sanctity of their bodies and well-being.
Arbitrary lockdowns destroying livelihoods, small businesses
The September 2020 Yelp Economic Impact Report found that nearly 100,000 U.S. small business were forced to shutdown permanently due to COVID lockdowns, stay-at-home orders, and the subsequent economic damage caused by said measures [6]. Small business owners in several states, including California [7], Minnesota [8], and Oregon [9], have sued mayors and governors for arbitrarily and unfairly enforcing shutdown orders.
There have been many positive developments in these fights, providing hope for individual small business owners. A federal judge in Kansas ruled in April that the governor’s order limiting in-person church services violated the First Amendment [10]. The United States Supreme Court struck down restrictions on in-person religious services in California and New York as well [11][12]. Individual small business owners are also fighting back and winning against unconstitutional, arbitrary lockdowns that are destroying their livelihoods [13].
The burden is on the individual small business owners to take the fight to the state.
Your strongest advocate is yourself
COVID Legal USA is a team of paralegals, researchers, legal writers and data engineers. We understand that every case related to COVID restrictions – be it shutdowns, masks, mandatory vaccines, etc. – is unique and specific to local and state mandates. We’ve created a high-tech database and intuitive algorithms that act together as a robot-advisor and document preparation tool. Most Americans fighting for their livelihoods simply do not know where to turn or how to fight these battles. COVID Legal USA is your ally, your assistant and your advocate in these trying times.
Further, there are few attorneys willing to step into these cases related to COVID, vaccines, and lockdowns due to the sensitive nature. COVID Legal USA gives you the confidence and resources to fight back against arbitrary, unconstitutional, dangerous mandates issued by local, state and federal government.

Q: Is COVID Legal USA a law firm?
A: NO. COVID Legal USA is a team of paralegals, legal writers, researchers, retired attorneys and database technicians. We cannot represent you in any legal matters. We do not form attorney-client relationships. Our state-of-the-art system allows you to prepare your own legal documents, learn your local laws and procedures, and represent yourself in these matters fast and efficiently.
Q: How exactly does COVID Legal USA work then?
A: We’ve compiled massive troves of legal documents, court decisions, rules of civil procedure, rules of evidence, etc. and feed them into a highly-intelligent, interactive database. As of March 2021, there are over one million pages of electronic documents that our algorithms read and match based on the information you give them.
Q: I don’t know anything about law. How can I represent myself to avoid mandatory vaccines?
A: We’ve fed thousands of state and federal court decisions related to mandatory vaccines, Emergency Use Authorizations, etc. Our paralegals can help you with legal jargon, definitions, etc. so you understand what to search and how to search it in building your case. But our algorithms are very intuitive and we’ve organized the databases so anyone who can read at an eighth-grade level should be fine utilizing it.
Q: Can COVID Legal USA help anyone in any state?
A: We’re building our databases in real-time. As of March 2021, we have enough data to serve about 15 states. When a new client comes to us from a state we have yet to build, we dispatch our paralegals and lawyers to gather thousands of documents specific to your state. Our programmers then must build the database to make it searchable. We can do every state. But costs are a bit higher if we have to build that states database and algorithms from scratch. But once it’s built, we continually add to it and you have forever access to the database.
Q: Can I use the COVID Legal USA platform for cases that have nothing to do with COVID mandates?
A: Eventually, yes. But right now, we’re focusing on COVID mandates.
Q: How much do your services cost?
A: Depends. Some people are afraid to use the database or think they cannot use it themselves. We do questionnaires and interviews that allow us to feed your information into the platform and provide you guides, forms, etc. from there. A simple document or research done by us can be as little as $99. Access to the full system varies depending on how far along we are building the database for your respective state.
Q: So let’s say my employer makes me wear masks at work. What can I do?
A: You’ll enter your city, state, occupation, text of the mandate you’re fighting and some other information. Our system provides you documents prepared by other attorneys for related cases. Court documents are public record. Some states allow free copies and access. Others charge fees. But, for instance, if you need to see what a Notice of Claim looks like in your state, you’ll enter that information and our system matches your query with our data. You may, for instance, get five claim notices filed as exhibits by five different attorneys in five different cases. The point is for you to LEARN what is happening so you can do it yourself.
Q: But I cannot understand all that legal jargon. I cannot do this.
A: COVID Legal USA has a neat function called “COVID translate.” It works very similar to Google translate. Essentially we take those complex documents and turn them into easily-readable literature with a click of a button. We’re still working on this feature. But it’s pretty cool and so far, our clients like it.
Q: Who owns COVID Legal USA?
A: Brian A. Wilkins is the founder of COVID Legal USA. He’s a journalist and paralegal who’s work in and around law firms for two decades. Our former LLC, Veracity Objectives, was dissolved because it is not the proper structure for what we have in store when Series A funding comes through. So right now we’re working in a grey area. Your donations provide you acces to our beta platform.
Max Banks (paralegal), Nicole Lee (paralegal), and Piyush Trithpati (database architect) are the main team members. We have volunteers that help with tasks all over the world.
Q: How can I help you guys grow and stay online?
A: We are under constant attack from media censors, hackers, bitter lawyers who hate our business model, etc. We need donations all the time. There are many costs, especially in keeping The COVID Blog online. Most of this is volunteer work. We make very little to nothing from this endeavor. But it appears to be a strong business model and we’re drafting a business plan for investors as we speak. In the meantime, we need donations to stay up and running.
